Trisha L. Dibkey, Au.D., CCC-A, Doctor of Audiology

With over 22 years of experience helping patients improve their hearing, Dr. Dibkey brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to every appointment. Inspired by her husband’s successful hearing aid journey, she approaches patient care with deep empathy—helping individuals overcome the emotional, cosmetic, and financial barriers often associated with hearing loss.

Dr. Dibkey believes hearing healthcare is about more than sound—it’s about restoring communication, confidence, and connection. She takes pride in educating her patients about their hearing needs and empowering them to take charge of their hearing health. Her goal is to ensure that every patient experiences the joy and fullness of life that comes with better hearing.

Originally from the Chicagoland area, Dr. Dibkey moved to Savannah 14 years ago with her husband and two sons to become the Director of Audiology & Hearing Aids at Georgia Ear Institute, later serving as Director of The Listening Center under St. Joseph’s/Candler. Today, she is proud to co-found My Hearing Aid Place with Karla McKenzie, continuing her mission to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Dr. Dibkey earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders with a minor in Psychology from Truman State University (1998), followed by a Master of Arts in Audiology from the University of Iowa (2000)—ranked the #1 audiology graduate program by U.S. News & World Report. She later earned her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in 2007.

She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) and is licensed in the State of Georgia to practice audiology and dispense hearing aids. Her professional memberships include the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), and the Georgia Academy of Audiology (GAA).
